Biography

A resident of PEI, Glenda is remembered for her interpretation of “Diana Barry”, in Anne of Green Gables. This portrayal has enabled her to represent “Anne” from New York to Japan, including the cast album.

Over a 37-year career, she has performed as “Emily Carr” in The Wonder of it All, “Stella” in Johnny Belinda, “Maria” in The Sound of Music, “Pearl” in Prisoner of Second Avenue, “Mrs. Bradshaw” in Emily of New Moon, and “Principal Soloist” in Quilters.

Glenda also has many radio and TV commercials to her credit.

Glenda was trained at Sheridan College Musical Theatre Program in Oakville, Ontario, The Maritime Conservatory in Halifax and private study with Vocal Coach and Mentor, Pamela Campbell.

Ms. Landry is also an accomplished dancer, drama teacher and motivational speaker. Most recently she has been accepted into the Apprenticeship Program – Culinary, where she is studying to become a Chef.
