Biography

Began working in screen printing in 1967 and had first one-man show in 1973 at the Aggregation Gallery in Toronto. Participated in dozens of group shows from 1970 to 1977 including exhibitions in London, England, France, and Belgium. Started watercolour painting in the '70's and moved to PEI in 1989 with first one-man show of watercolours at the Studio Gallery in Victoria in 1990.

Printmaking is represented in numerous collections throughout Canada including the Art Gallery of Ontario, Canada Council Art Bank, the TD Canada Trust Collection, and the Confederation Centre in Charlottetown. In 2003 started to work with computer images and produced first digital prints. Continue to exhibit at the Studio Gallery in Victoria and the Mermaid Art Gallery in Charlottetown.

Has also maintained a career in video production including directing, camera, and editing.

Member of the PEI Arts Council, PEI Printmakers Council, South Shore Arts Council, and the PEI Crafts Council

Education & Training

Graduated from Sheridan College of Art and Design in 1970 in Graphic Design. Trained in commercial screen printing for 4 years while going to college.

Taught printmaking workshops at the Three Schools and the Ontario College of Art in Toronto. Recently conducted an Elderhostel watercolour workshop in Victoria, PEI
